Course Description

This Course focuses on the skills that an Assistant Instructor will need to assist a qualified Australian Sailing Instructor in delivering training. This qualification is for those who wish to progress in the sport by helping others who are learning.

Pre-Requisites

1) Recommended minimum age of 12 yrs old 2) Comply with relevant State Maritime Licence requirements

Course Outcomes

The Assistant Instructor course will provide you with a good foundation in the structure of the National Training Programs, communication skills and an introduction to risk management

Who should do this Course

Anyone wishing to work / help out at an accredited Australian Sailing Training Centre or those wishing to go on to become a Dinghy Instructor
