Activity Days GSC operates most Sundays - September to April. Coaching for beginners on specified mornings and fleet racing in the afternoons from September to April.Racing usually starts around 13.00.Sailing for 7 and over. Classes sailed Optimist, Manly Junior, Flying Eleven, 29er, Laser. All dinghy and skiff classes welcome.
Club Activities Summer dinghy racing for all the family 7 years and over. Introduction to sailing courses are run by the club for beginners each season. Ongoing training is provided to club members. GSC hosts state and national championships.
Open times Most Sundays from 10.30 to 18.00 Fully equipped Club House Facilities: boat storage, clubhouse, hall hire, launching ramp - cement, member parking, rigging -cement, rigging - laws, showers. Four power rescue boats.
Club information Racing is held on the upper harbour between Goat Island, Gore Bay, Mann's Point, Whitehorse Point, Woolwich Wharf and Pulpit Point. Club racing on most Sunday afternoons in summer with a BBQ one Sunday evening a month open to members and visitors.
Other information GSC is a family club with a friendly helpful atmosphere. The club prides itself on the high standards that its members achieve participating in state, national & international events with excellent results. New members & visitors are very welcome. Non sailing family members may participate as Club volunteers in various areas.
